Ayton Meeting House refurbishments and alterations are finally finished. The first Meeting for Worship in the new Meeting Room was Sunday 8th April 2001. Here are a few photographs to show the finished result. 

There is a little more work to be done and the upstairs room, in which School and Old Scholars' memorabilia is to be displayed, awaits finishing touches and choice of items to be shown.

As one enters the Meeting House - through the original doors - the view is now very different, with a staircase to the upper floor room and double doors through to the Social area.

At the back of this photo there is a partition wall dividing the Meeting Room from the Committee Room which, presumably, will be folded back when extra space is needed in the Meeting Room.
